About SVKM

Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM) is a public charitable trust registered under the Societies Registration Act and Bombay Public Trust Act. SVKM has always been committed to the cause of providing high quality education at various levels. After beginning its journey in the early 1930’s, SVKM has blossomed into an educational colossus that has attained national recognition in multiple streams of higher education.


 

About the college

Founded in 2003, SVKM’s Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Arts, Science and Commerce (UPG College) has grown from an inaugural class of 150 students into a thriving institution with 1,780 students. Affiliated with the University of Mumbai, UPG College offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Mass Media, Management, and Information Technology. Known for its progressive and researchoriented approach, the college embodies its motto, “Universe of Possibilities, ” by fostering a vibrant academic and cultural environment supported by excellent infrastructure, active placement initiatives, and holistic development opportunities for its students.


 

About the Department

The Departments of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence at SVKM’s Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Arts, Science and Commerce offer Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in Information Technology, along with a Master’s program in AI and Data Science. The departments are committed to nurturing students' technical and analytical skills through a well-rounded curriculum and hands-on learning experiences. Over the past decade, they have organised several initiatives, such as Techvanza, aimed at developing students’ competencies across various technological domains. Building on the success of previous national and international conferences, the departments’ annual International Conference on Emerging Trends in Digital Technologies (ICETDT) has become a prominent event that promotes research excellence and fosters a culture of innovation.

Submission Guidelines
  • Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished, and high-quality research papers that are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • Manuscripts must be prepared using the prescribed conference paper template. The template can be downloaded from the conference website.
  • Papers must be submitted through the Microsoft CMT Submission Portal (https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/ICETDT2027/Submission/Index) . Authors are also requested to email a copy of their manuscript to icetdt2027@gmail.com for record purposes.
  • ICETDT-2027 follows a strict publication ethics policy. All submissions will be screened for originality using Turnitin, and only manuscripts with a similarity index below 10% (excluding references and properly cited quotations, where applicable) will be considered for review.
  • Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and obtaining all necessary permissions for copyrighted material included in their manuscripts. Papers containing plagiarism, fabricated data, or unethical research practices will be rejected.

  • All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process conducted by the Technical Program Committee and expert reviewers. Acceptance will be based on the originality, technical quality, significance, relevance to the conference themes, and overall contribution of the manuscript.
  • Only accepted and presented papers will be considered for publication.
  • All accepted and presented papers will be considered for publication in peer-reviewed journals with ISSN, subject to the respective journal's scope, editorial policy, and peer-review process.
  • Selected extended papers will be considered for publication in a Scopus-indexed journal, subject to successful peer review, editorial evaluation, and compliance with the journal's publication requirements.
  • Publication is subject to the respective journal's editorial policies, acceptance criteria, and indexing status at the time of publication. Any applicable publication charges for publication in the Scopus-indexed journal shall be borne separately by the author(s).
