Dr. Anju Kapoor, the Principal of SVKM’s Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Arts, Science & Commerce has been an academic for 32 years and holds a doctorate in Applied Psychology from the University of Mumbai.?
Dr. Kapoor runs Counseling by Choice, a consulting agency which offers vocational & personal counseling services. She is presently consultant to Eduabroad for handling academic counselling for Indian education. She has been a vice principal at various colleges prior to heading the UPGAS&C as the Principal in 2014.Dr. Kapoor has completed teaching assignments at Faculty Exchange Program at the University of Georgia, Atlanta, U.S.A.
Dr. Kapoor has contributed to the academia in innumerable ways. Apart from authoring seven books with both international and national publishers, she has been to several international and national conferences, seminars, workshops and symposia where she has presented research papers. Of late, she has delved into fiction writing, with a collection of short stories titled ‘Seven Personas of Eve’ being published by the Crossword Publishing in 2019.
Dr. Kapoor’s interests include reading, traveling, watching films & listening to music.
Dr. Navita is a course Coordinator of MA(EMA) course and a Member of Board of Studies for Master’s in Mass communication and Journalism, University of Mumbai. ?Dr. Navita Kulkarni has done her Masters in Mass communication and Journalism and has completed her Doctorate in Journalism and Mass communication. She has cleared her State Eligibility Test (SET) and was a University topper for Bachelor of Journalism and Communication.
Dr.Navita?has over 15 years of teaching experience. She has worked for?daily 'Maharashtra Herald' Pune as a correspondent and also worked as a sub-editor for Marathi daily 'Lokpatra'. She has also worked as a stringer for Indian Express, Kohlapur.

Prof. Date is a gold medalist of Philosophy (M.A.) and has been a topper of the University of Mumbai for her graduation as well as post-graduation exam.
She has cleared SET as well as NET examination along with Junior Research Fellowship. Mrs. Madhuvanti is a faculty at BMM at UPG with 16 years of teaching experience.
She has completed her MBA (PGDHRM) approved by Distance Education Council, Central Govt. of India from Wellingkar's Institute of Management and Research.
She is an exponent of classical Indian dance, Bharat Natyam and has represented India for the Indian folk dance festival held in France and Spain.
She has co-authored a book on Communication Skills for F.Y.B.Sc.(I.T.) as per the new revised syllabus of Mumbai University w.e.f. Academic Year 2016-2017

Ms. Rashmi Gahlowt, the Coordinator of?B.A(M.M.C.) is a Gold Medalist in M.Sc. (Mass Communication and Technology). She began her career in media at the Zee News as an assistant reporter. Later she worked for The Hindustan Times newspaper in New Delhi. Apart from freelancing as a content developer and editor for educational portals, she has also worked as dialogue writer for shows on Zee TV.
She has worked as a content writer and editor for lifestyle portals. A voracious reader herself, she has authored and presented papers on various subjects and themes of mass media at various National and International platforms and authored a book titled "Introduction to Media Psychology".
Mayur Sudhakar Sarfare is a Novelist and an Assistant Professor of Mass Media with a keen interest in creative writing. His range of subjects includes Understanding Cinema, Content Writing, Consumer Behaviour and Media laws. He began his career in Public Relations at India’s largest independent PR machinery – Adfactors PR, but love for media subjects and cinema drove him towards academics.
He is an ardent consumer of metaphysics and philosophy. A man of powerful words, Mayur Sarfare is much sought after for the multitude of thoughts that spring from an ever-curious mind, which he shares on Social Media platforms, urging people to sit up and think.
His growing popularity stems from the way he exhumes human truths and his knack of using English words ingeniously. He also enjoys hosting events and plays moderator during panel discussions.

Dr.Yatindra Hruday Ingle is an assistant professor and has his keen interest in journalism, New Media, and Cultural Studies. His subjects include reporting, visual communication, brand building, News Media management, etc. Dr.Ingle has pursued his Ph.D. from Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University on the subject of Political Communication and Mass Media. He has completed his Masters in Communication and Journalism from the University of Mumbai and cleared the State Eligibility Test in the same subject. Further, he stepped ahead to study Media Management and pursued Masters in Business Administration from Suresh Gyan Vidhyapeeth. Furthermore, being interested in cultural studies and society, Dr.Ingle has published several research papers in International Peer-Reviewed Journals and UGC care listed journals. He has also written subjective books as well as being a part of the syllabus framing committee of the University of Mumbai. He has also been a journalist as well as worked with advertising firms. Dr.Yatin has been the supervisor of minor projects conducted by the Indian Institute of Media Communication (IIMC), Maharashtra State Election Commission.
Prof Mrs. Geeta Sharma is currently pursuing her doctoral programme in Journalism and Mass Communication from Amity University, Panvel. She has cleared her State Eligibility test in Journalism and Mass Communication. She is a post graduate in Master of Arts in Communication and Journalism. She has also completed post graduate diploma programme (PGDBA) from Welingkar Institute of Management and Research in Finance. She has worked for various production houses in the capacity of Associate Creative Director for popular daily shows like Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin (DJ's a Creative unit), Darna Mana Hai (Twenty Twenty Television Production, subsidiary of K Sera Sera Production) and Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi ( Balaji Telefilms). She has worked as a freelance scriptwriter for Bollywood TV shows for Zee UK channel. She has translated shows like Code Red Awaz and Bhanwar in English. She has also worked as institutional sales manager in the equity market. Overall, she has an experience of ten years in media and equity market.
Prof. Bulbul Bhattacharjee has close to 30 years of industry experience with International Airline- Air India, in the Finance department, where she has majorly worked in a managerial capacity. She has been a Brand consultant with a realty firm for a considerably long period of time. She has drawn all of her industry experience and injected it into the teaching field where she has been breaking new grounds for the last 15 years. She has taught subjects ranging from Brand Building to Communication skills. She has authored couple of books in the subject of Brand Building and Understanding Cinema for BMM students.
Prof. Archana Mehra has close to 12 years of teaching experience. She possess a profound knowledge of the English language. She is known for creating a classroom atmosphere which is comfortable as well as stimulating. She has worked in the capacity of a Coordinator in the BMM department with RD National College for over 3 years. She has also been an effective soft skills trainer with UPG College for the last 3 years. She has worked as a copywriter with Clamar Advertising during her formative years.
Shreya Bhandary works as a Special Correspondent with the Hindustan Times (Mumbai).
With special focus on higher education institutes, her work revolves around the new policies introduced by the University and other institutes including TISS and IIT-Bombay.
She has taught subjects ranging from Creative Writing to Editing in various esteemed institutes.
She has worked as a Principal Correspondent and Senior Correspondent in Midday Infomedia and The Times of India respectively.
She has done her Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism from the Times School of Journalism.
She is a voracious reader and follows music across genres.
Abhijeet Kini, founder of Abhijeet Kini Studios, is a Comiccon award winning Mumbai based illustrator, animator and independent comics publisher, known for his comic series "Angry Maushi". He has been a regular participant in all the Indian comic cons and has also participated in international editions. He started off with freelancing for Mid-Day multimedia, in the year 2000 while in his first year BMM, as a cartoonist and writer. Abhijeet is a regular illustrator with Tinkle comics since 2004, and has been conducting workshops across all age groups on ideation, creative writing and drawing and comic making. Under Kini Studios, branding, marketing, social media content and merchandising are some of the areas of expertise. He is also a visiting faculty at Whistling Woods International.

Sukriti Vadhera Kohli thrives on multitasking, her preference of having many things going on at once, keeps her interested and energised. She believes in respecting and cherishing young people, as the way to help them tap their full capacity. Love for the youth and education, brought her to teaching as visiting faculty about a decade ago. She worked as an advertising professional for several years, till she moved to freelancing. Sukriti also works as a consultant at happyness.me, a company which measures, assesses employee happiness. Other than freelancing she runs an IG page called docofhappiness dedicated to mental wellbeing.
Sanjog Patil’s true calling is indulging in creative pursuits. This has meant that at various stages in his career, he has taken up various creative endeavours. This has seen him through some of the most fulfilling journeys including in the Entertainment space, the Digital space, Advertising and Journalism. Sanjog has been involved in several roles that include leading a designing team, to writing articles for various publications and commercial photography, in addition to that he has been a part of leading corporates like Bennett & Coleman Pvt. Ltd., Plus Channel India Ltd., Kalanirnay Publications among others. As a visiting faculty he has been associated with several reputed institutes since 2014. His hobbies include travelling, trekking and adventure sports.
Ms Shreya Bhandary has been a reporter with various newspapers including Times of India, Mid-day and at present, Hindustan Times for the past 12 years and uses her knowledge and understanding gathered on the field to teach budding media enthusiasts in regular classes. Ms Bhandary has been teaching mass media students for the past nine years and closely works with the Board of Studies (BoS) of several mass media subjects under the University of Mumbai.
At present, she holds the post of Assistant Editor, covering higher education as a regular beat for Hindustan Times Mumbai.
